Tamil and Malayalam film stars came together in the city at ‘Hridayaragam', an awards ceremony with a difference. HRIDAYARAGAM-2010 is a World Malayalee Council (WMC) Chennai province initiative to set up an Orphanage for HIV/AIDS children’s project.
The event was organized in association with Madras Medical Mission and Kairali Television, and the sale proceeds of the passes for the event went in support of the orphanage. The audience was highly excited when the Veterans Illayarja,Mohanlal and Kamal Hasaan came together on stage..Many artistes danced to the tunes from popular songs..
The event was held at Nehru Indoor stadium in Chennai recently..
