The story
Madrasapattinam, as the name suggests is a movie , with story revolving in the preindependance era from 1940 – 1947. Tamil movie Madrasapattinam tells a love story with independence struggle as its backdrop. The film Madrasapatnam moves around the romance and love between a Tamilian (Arya) and a British girl (Amy Jackson) who is the 18 year old daughter of the governor of Madrasapattinam at that time.
